Jack-of-All-Trades Architectural Firm

Who we are:   A small, finely tuned commercial architectural firm with expertise in a wide variety of building scenarios.  Our clients run the gamut from well heeled, quirky, institutional, financial, corporate, educational, medical, specialized manufacturing, research, biotech, veterinary hospitals and universities to owners of retail space, restaurants, multi-family and senior housing, historic buildings, high rise office spaces, and  much more.

Who we are not:  A big, glitzy, specialized firm that will keep you fetching coffee and drafting cube farm layouts for the next few years.  If you want to work on projects mentioned above along with the likes of tattoo parlors and pie factories, check us out. Just don’t expect to do some variation on the same old theme and style every single day.

Why we’re located here:  Worcester is home to many colleges, a semi pro hockey rink, the historic Blackstone canal district, and an expanding business market.  The city is undergoing a renaissance and we fill a large demand here.  The location is affordable with direct train access to Boston.  Do a reverse commute from the big city or live in a smaller metropolitan region with many amenities and one of the nation’s finest smaller art museums, also a client!  Central Massachusetts offers a great deal of flexibility in living styles.

When to apply:  Now, this Summer, and moving into the next decade.  We seek people with architectural knowledge of all types who also possess an ability to perceive and meet building and client needs on a consistently creative basis.

How to potentially work here:  Don’t be afraid to work hard in a number of design niches.  Tasks vary daily.  One morning you may be measuring an old pigeon inhabited loft space and the next day you may be working on a high profile lobby revamp for one of the nation’s largest insurers.  We want people who can develop client relationships and grasp their respective challenges so as to execute a design solution.  Specifically, we are seeking the following candidates.
